How to: change back to the old Google Search. Kind of.

May 9th, 2010

Google has a new panel on the left for better navigation. If you don’t love it, you can actually hide the panel and change back to the old Google Search. Two userscripts, OldGoogle and REMOVE Google Sidebar, would be useful. After installation, the sidebar will appear for one second and hidden immediately in the Google Search results. Unfortunately, the new button style cannot be reverted.

For Google Chrome users, they can just press the link above to install. For Firefox users, you will need the Greasemonkey at first.
