I thought MacBook Air’s multi-touch trackpad has filed a patent. Anyway, you may see something similar in ASUS products. ASUS EEEPC next model 900 will probably feature the following multi-touch trackpad which works very similar like Apple’s multi-touch technology. You can zoom in and out the picture using 2 fingers. The download and upload speed will be doubled via a software upgrade to cellular network. For download speed, the maximum can be 1.2Mbps. And the upload speed can be 473Kbps. If existing EDGE mobile device can enjoy the upgraded speed, you just need your local mobile phone service provider to install this little software upgrade software. Then, you will be able to enjoy the higher speed on 2G mobile devices. The software will be available at Q3 of 2008.

Google has introduced a new plugin for Windows Mobile users that can search stuff right on the home screen. They have similar product introduced to Symbian before, and now it comes to Windows Mobile. To install, users just need to go to “mobile.google.com” on their device and choose to download the plugin. After all, you will see something similar above and able to search with Google quickly and easily.

When we listen to the music on iPhone/iPod Touch, we normally turn off the screen. Some people think that this is not good for the device, because we turn it on and off so many times every single day.
PocketTouch will darken the screen and prevents you to access other programs. To use it, play a song from music library first. Then, run the program and the screen will turn dark. Turn on the volume by swipe from bottom to the top. If you do it in reverse, the volume will be turned down.
To play next song of the playlist, swipe from left to right. Or, you can swipe from right to left to play previous song.
PocketTouch also provides setting screen. Tap the icon on the top right. You will be able to adjust those view and swipe options. The fun stuff is in the “Shaker” part. AT&T are so aggressive to filter those SPAM emails. Or I should say, AT&T does not know how to filter emails. They filtered some legitimate emails which receivers don’t know what had happened. Those emails never reached the final destination because of wrong doing of AT&T. AT&T spokesperson said they will investigate what’s going on. I think they are learning and analyzing which one is really SPAM mail.
