Plaxo has introduced Pulse, the widget that is all about social network. You can add the information and settings so everyone can check your status at Flickr, Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, Digg and so much more through the widget. You can also add your friend’s status into this little but powerful widget. The only thing you need to do is just register in Plaxo.
Update: This software now turns out to be shareware, somehow. You can only use those critical features for 5 times. Who needs this when we have iNdependence, the truly free apps for iPhone 1.1.1? And who needs when we have the method to add free custom ringtones totally free?
Free ringtones for iPhone 1.1.1 is pretty important to users. We know how to add free custom ringtones to iPhone 1.1.1 easily with SendSong 0.19e. It works for Windows and Mac OS X too. Now, for mac, you will be able to add custom free ringtones more easily with iFuntastic 4.6.1. You don’t need to jailbreak or unshackle, just add those ringtones directly. While we worry about Apple is going to release iPhone new firmware, the existing iPhone 1.1.1 hacking is going easier and friendly to all users.

Let’s get the great stuff in this tiny and sleek iPod Touch. Currently, iPod Touch is a closed platform and cannot install any real applications. (Web 2.0 application for iPod Touch cannot be accessed anytime anywhere.) Apple’s Steve Jobs said there will be a SDK in the next year. But now, thanks to the iPod Touch hacking team, you can get those native apps running on iPod touch now.
This guide is only for Mac OS X. You don’t even need Fugu (SSH client tool) during the process. There is another guide for Windows already.
After you follow this guide for mac, you can

2.Running the missed iPhone application

iPod Touch can now act as PDA. It does not have Mail, Stocks, Weather and Notes. You cannot add new events under Calendar. Those are pretty useful but Apple just wipe it.
Now, you can install applications that you want, but this is not official. So, here is the guide to let you enhance the power of iPod Touch.

Do you have hard time while jailbreaking and activating in Windows like we do? In Mac, that is pretty easy to do it under iNdependence following this guide. But, for Windows, you need to type lots of commands. Now, the iDemocracy is the first mostly-automated jailbreak and third-part installer in Windows. (we never seen something similar before. You may think of iBrickr, but it does not work with iPhone 1.1.1. currently.) We are looking forward trying it. Also, we will post the ulimate unlock guide for Windows once we’ve tested and run the program successfully.

If you think browsing Flickr in cover flow style is not cool enough, you must try this. This Flickr Related Tag Browser features a simple text box in the main page, but after you type something and click go, you will discover something that is really amazing.
For example, we typed “cat” and the browser will show you the related tag with cool animation. You will see a big circle. To watch the photos, move your mouse in the middle and it will zoom in to thumbnails. When you clicked on the thumbnail, it will show you the picture instantly. You must try!
Picnik is the Web 2.0 site that lets you edit photos online instantly. There are thousands of similar site, but Picnik is definitely a good choice as it comes with good interface and great features. Flickr seems also agreed with that. They will soon add Picnik in the Flickr services within few months. You will soon not only rotate the photos, but also edit it directly on Flickr. Much better than opening Picnik and send it back to Flickr
The famous iPhone/iPod Touch installer has released the new 3.0b. This new beta version can be downloaded through your AppTapp Installer of iPhone/iPod Touch. AppTapp Installer now refreshes with new user interface (UI). The applications now listed according to your iPhone/iPod Touch versions. This make sure the program works with your device. It seems download and install applications faster than before. You can also add and delete the application sources.

The iPhone 1.1.1 should now be unlocked. Even the old anySIM unlocked iPhone 1.0.2 can now go for upgrade. There is a viriginizer here which make sure it looks like out of the box iPhone. You can try it at your own risk.
We wrote a guide about unlocking iPhone 1.1.1 for free in Mac OS X. It is now easier to customize your ringtone without editing files. After you follow the steps, you should be able to use any ringtones for free, enable YouTube, using the phone function and 3rd party native applications.
We tried to write one for Windows. We found that the internet guide does not work for us somehow. That’s why there is still no windows guide right here. It looks like we did something wrong because there are lots of successful case. So, we didn’t publish that guide yet. But stay tuned.
UPDATE:hackint0sh users said the instructions are good and able to ‘virgin’ their iPhone. That means everyone can now be updated to iPhone 1.1.1. But, we still recommend you to wait for the official iPhone Dev Team before updating.
Currently, iPhone 1.0.2 that is unlocked by old AnySIM 1.0.2 cannot go for upgrade iPhone 1.1.1. They will brick their iPhone. The new anySIM 1.1.1 program only works for virgin (or out of the box) iPhone 1.1.1. But, there is a unofficial virginizer (which is in early test. Don’t try it and it may brick your iPhone) that may help your iPhone turn back to virgin state and go for the update. The program looks like using IPSF program and some server technique. And the site states it contains some bugs.
Meanwhile, the iPhone Elite Team said they fix the IMEI corruption problem caused by anySIM 1.0.2. It will soon have the imminent release as told. Once this problem fixed, your iPhone may be able to go for iPhone 1.1.1 upgrade.
