iFuntastic is the customization tool for iPhone. They have just released the latest version 3.0.3. This version not only supports the PowerPC processor, but it also comes with great new features. There are no jailbreaking anymore, you just need to unshackled your iPhone. You can install the new iPhone native applications easily. There are also a file browser included. While there are another great tool called iBrickr, both Windows and Mac OS X users are happy to ‘hack’ the iPhone now.
There are plenty of iPhone unlock method out there. Some are working, some may not. The best method right now we can say is the TurboSIM method. But, the TurboSIM method require to cut part of your SIM card to get it work. It probably void the warranty of the SIM. Here is another option we see in Hong Kong. The new TurboSIM, called as Perfect SIM, that is thinner and better. It does not require you to cut any part of SIM card anymore. It will only be sold in bulk. You will need to purchase at least 50 quantities. The highest price for the bid is around US$128 for each. (Final resell price will be according to the bid) If you can’t wait and think Engadget is lying, just have fun with the auction. Note there is no one confirmed it will work as the same as TurboSIM method available on the internet.
Mac OS X Leopard is still in beta stage, but soon it will be released in October (if no delay). Developers are testing the Leopard every single build to makes sure it works well, and here is the hidden letter found in Mac OS X Leopard. It was discovered by enlarging the icons to 512 x 512 in Finder. Will it be seen in final build?
AutoPatcher is a great tool for patching Windows 2000, XP and Vista with ease. The patch can be delivered offline and is useful for those computers to do update without internet. It does not requires WGA checking which is tedious to most of the users. AutoPatcher works well for 4 years, without any warning from Microsoft. But now, the big software giant change its tone and asks them to shut down now. The AutoPatcher site no longer provides download link but you may try Google for cache.

People are putting hope to iPhonesimfree.com. And see, iPhonesimfree.com has added the new FAQ section on their site. In question 13, they hope to release the unlock software within 48-72 hours. Anymore delays? Hope not.
We all know Google owns Blogger.com and YouTube. It’s great to see Google services are interacting with each other. After some down time of Blogger.com, it is now able to upload the videos directly. It supports AVI, MPEG, QuickTime, Real and Windows Media. 100 MB maximum. The video will be played by Blogger player which look like Google Video. I thought it will be uploaded to YouTube directly…
There are 2 software unlock method announced, iPhonesimfree.com and iphoneunlocking.com. Engadget reported there will be software unlock by iPhoneunlocking.com (by uniquephones) tomorrow. Finally, it seems someone is trying to draw attention and wanna gain some page views. They are saying they receive the AT&T is taking law action to prevent they release the software. Engadget said it is legal to unlock the phones, but it seems not legal to sell them.
Does anyone smells BS? Apparently, iphonesimfree.com seems more promising as Engadget tested it with photos and videos. iPhoneunlocking didn’t contact any press to release the software for testing. We have contacted iPhoneunlocking.com but no one responses now. Let’s hope iphonesimfree.com will not face similar situation.
Woooola! Just after one day the hardware unlock guide is posted, there are 2 sites calming that there will be software tomorrow or one week later.
The first one is iphonesimfree.com, they even gave the first software to Engadget to review it. The official release day will be on the coming next week. It looks like this trusted tech blog will not posting a scam or hoax, so that could be properly true. Engadget is showing their phone to be used in US, who knows will the software works in other country? We have reporters not only in US, so hey, come on, let’s test it, iphonesimfree.com!

It looks like native iPhone software is going better and better. From the VoiceSignal, they have released a clip to Gizmodo showing off the iPhone speech recognition. Basically you talk to iPhone and it will play the song you want. Looks amazing, right. And Gizmodo and winandmac.com surely hope that it will be true. We hate scam videos.
